How Lynbu collects, uses, and protects your information — explained in plain language.
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lynbu ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit lynbu.com (the "Site"). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Who is responsible for your data (data controller). Lynbu is published and operated by MOODLR DESENVOLVIMENTO DIGITAL LTDA (trading as Moodlr Dev Hub), CNPJ 22.136.919/0001-40, located at CALIXTO MACHADO, 21, PIRES FACANHA, EUSEBIO, CE, Brazil — CEP 61775060. This company is the controller responsible for personal information processed through the Site. You can reach us at hello@lynbu.com.
1. Information we collect
We collect two broad categories of information:
- Information you give us. When you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter, you may provide your name and email address. We only use this to respond to you or to send the emails you requested.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and third-party tools automatically receive standard log data such as your browser type, device, approximate location (derived from your IP address), referring pages, and how you interact with the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our partners also use similar technologies such as local storage, web beacons, pixels, and device identifiers. We use them to remember your preferences (such as light or dark mode), to understand how the Site is used, and to support advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect some features of the Site.
Your consent choices. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, including those used for advertising and measurement. We use Google Consent Mode, which defaults to a non-personalised, no-advertising-cookie state — personalised advertising and ad-related cookies are only enabled after you accept. Until you accept, ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation, and analytics storage remain denied. You can change your decision at any time by choosing Cookie preferences in the footer.
Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, personalised advertising consent is managed through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) built to the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2.2. The CMP records your choices and signals them to Google and other registered vendors. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time using the same Cookie preferences control.
3. Advertising and third-party vendors
We display advertising to keep Lynbu free to read. Advertising on the Site is or will be served through Google Ad Manager (which we may operate via an authorised advertising partner) together with Google AdSense. These Google advertising products, and their associated advertisers and vendors, are third-party ad vendors on the Site.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and identifiers to serve and measure ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Where you have not consented to personalised advertising (or where required by law), Google and our partners serve non-personalised ads, which rely on contextual information rather than your past behaviour.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance), optout.networkadvertising.org (Network Advertising Initiative), or youronlinechoices.eu (European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance).
Third-party advertising networks and vendors have their own privacy policies that govern their collection and use of information. We encourage you to review Google's "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page to understand how data is handled.
U.S. state privacy rights ("Do Not Sell or Share"). If you live in California or another U.S. state with applicable privacy laws, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined by law. We do not sell your personal information for money; however, the use of advertising cookies and identifiers may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" (including cross-context behavioural advertising) under some laws. You can exercise this choice using the Cookie preferences control or the opt-out links above.
4. Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand which guides are helpful and how to improve the Site. These tools report aggregated trends — such as page views and popular content — and, in their default state, are not used to personally identify you. Analytics storage follows the same consent signals described above.
5. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content.
- To respond to your messages and deliver newsletters you have requested.
- To measure the performance of our content and advertising.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). These can include the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@lynbu.com and we will respond as required by law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send.
7. Data retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not target advertising to them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International visitors
Lynbu is operated for a global audience from Brazil. If you access the Site from outside the country where our service providers are located, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in another country, including under safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
